Baptist Medical & Dental Mission International exists under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the needs of the poor.

• Meeting Spiritual Needs...
  For 33 years we have made Honduras and Nicaragua our mission field, bringing people into relationship with Jesus Christ - the son of God. A personal relationship with Christ is the hope of eternal life and the source of our greatest joy and strength here on earth.
  
  No medicine, treatment, education, or any other material thing can fulfill our most pressing inner need - our need to be in touch with God personally.
  
  
• Meeting Physical Needs...
  But our hearts are broken also for the physical needs of the poor. Our volunteers and staff work hard to meet those needs as our resources allow us to. It truly is a labor of love...and sweat!
  
  
• Looking Forward...
  The Lord has blessed our mission work in Honduras and Nicaragua in so many ways. Since 1974, we have planted more than 120 indigenous churches, witnessed more than 100,000 accept Christ as their Savior, and treated more than one million people free of charge.
  
  With God's help, we hope to take our medical, dental, and evangelistic teams to developing nations around the world. We also envision one day reaching even more through Christian broadcasting, permanent hospitals, and other benevolent services.
  
  Regardless of the services we may establish, we are dedicated to maintaining the visions and priorities which led to the founding of BMDMI more than three decades ago. We will continue to reach out in love to people who need the Lord and a healing touch.
