To oversee the ministries in Honduras and Nicaragua, BMDMI sends out fulltime foreign missionaries.

There are two fulltime foreign missionary service programs: Career and Affiliate. Career missionaries work toward developing and sustaining their own ministry on the foreign field. Affiliates work in support roles and are under the guidance of an established career missionary. Career missionaries and Affiliates have no limit to the amount of time they may serve.

The Sojourner program is for those interested in foreign missionary service for eight months up to one year (with a possible extension to two years). Sojourners serve under the supervision of a Career missionary.
