Kids at the Children's Home

It's heart-breaking to see children living in terrible conditions of neglect and abuse. Unfortunately there are many children that struggle every day to survive in Honduras and Nicaragua.

With the Lord's help and the support of many committed individuals, BMDMI has established two children's home to care for abused, abandoned and orphaned children.

The Good Shepherd Children's Home (GSCH) is located outside the capital city of Tegucigalpa in Honduras and is home to more than 220 children. At GSCH, the kids have a place to call home where their basic needs of food, shelter, and education are met in loving, Christian environment.

In 2007, we began processing paperwork to open the Emmanuel Children's Home in Diriamba, Nicaragua. Construction on the first residence building has already begun!

Both of these children's home operate solely off the generous donations of people who have seen the incredible ministry accomplished in the lives of these kids and want to be a part of sustaining it.

We need more sponsors for our children as well as special donations for the operation of the children's homes. You can help feed, clothe, house and educated a child for only $25 (or more) per month! We encourage our sponsors build a relationship with the child they support through letters and photos.
